Terms of Use

Nate Jackson’s Super Funny Comedy Club

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2.1 Age Restrictions

• All shows have minimum age requirements as indicated at the time of ticket purchase
• Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
• Valid government-issued photo identification is required for age verification
• We reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone who cannot provide proper identification

2.2 Right to Refuse Admission

• Failure to comply with age restrictions
• Disruptive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior
• Intoxication or suspected drug use
• Violation of our Code of Conduct
• Failure to follow staff instructions
• Any behavior that may endanger the safety or enjoyment of other Guests or staff
• Failure to comply with our 2 item minimum requirement
• Anyone with a picture of their ID, a paper temporary license or other invalid form of ID

2.3 Security and Safety

• All Guests and belongings are subject to search upon entry
• We reserve the right to use metal detectors, bag checks, and other security measures
• Prohibited items include but are not limited to: weapons, illegal substances, outside food and beverages, recording devices (unless authorized), and laser pointers

3.1 Ticket Purchase

• Tickets may be purchased online, by phone, or at the box office
• All ticket sales are final unless a show is cancelled by the Club
• Prices are subject to change without notice
• Service fees and taxes may apply to all ticket purchases
• We do not guarantee specific seating unless explicitly stated at time of purchase

3.2 Ticket Policies

• Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable except as provided in these Terms
• Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced
• Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be void
• We reserve the right to limit the number of tickets purchased per person
• Counterfeit tickets will be confiscated and may result in prosecution

3.3 Cancellations and Refunds

• If we cancel a show, refunds will be issued to the original method of payment
• Refunds are not available for no-shows or late arrivals
• Substitution of performers does not constitute grounds for refund
• Severe weather-related cancellations will be handled on a case-by-case basis
• Processing of refunds may take 7-14 business days

3.4 Show Changes

• Show times, performers, and content are subject to change without notice
• We are not responsible for any costs incurred by Guests due to show changes
• If we reschedule a show do to a change in the artist’s schedule, we will issue a credit for the price of the ticket(s)
• If a customer does not want the credit and would like a refund, the customer should request their refund in writing at [email protected]

All Guests must comply with the following Code of Conduct:

4.1 Expected Behavior

• Treat all performers, staff, and fellow guests with respect
• Remain seated during performances except for emergencies
• Silence all mobile devices during performances
• Keep conversations to a minimum during shows
• Follow all posted signage and staff instructions
• There is a two-item minimum inside the show room.
• If you attend Thelma’s Lounge pre or post-show, those items are not included in your two-item minimum.

4.2 Prohibited Behavior

• Heckling, interrupting, or disrupting performances
• Using offensive, threatening, or abusive language to service staff, guests, or performers
• Physical altercations or threatening behavior
• Recording, photographing, or livestreaming without authorization
• Smoking or vaping in prohibited areas
• Sleeping during performances
• Creating excessive noise or disturbances
• No minors under the age of 21 are allowed in the club, unless for special events where it is part of the programming or a private special client event
• No outside food or beverage is permitted

4.3 Alcohol Service

• Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase to Guests 21 and older
• Valid government-issued photo identification is required
• We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any Guest
• Visibly intoxicated Guests will not be served and may be removed
• No outside alcohol is permitted

5.1 Grant of Rights

• Photograph, videotape, record, or otherwise capture your image, likeness, voice, and performance
• Use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, distribute, and create derivative works from such recordings
• Use your image and likeness in any and all media now known or hereafter devised for any lawful purpose, including but not limited to: marketing, advertising, promotional materials, social media, websites, television, film, and commercial purposes

5.2 No Compensation

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You will receive no compensation or royalties for any use of your image, likeness, or voice
• You waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product or any use thereof
• You release the Club from any claims arising from the use of your image or likeness

5.3 Guest Recording Prohibited

Unless expressly authorized in writing:

• Guests may not record, photograph, or livestream any portion of performances
• Unauthorized recording devices will be confiscated
• Violators may be removed from the premises and subject to legal action
• Camera phones and mobile devices must remain stowed during performances

5.4 Social Media Policy

• Guests may photograph the venue and themselves before or after shows
• No photography or video is permitted during performances without authorization
• When posting on social media, Guests should tag @SuperFunnyComedyClub
• We reserve the right to repost or share Guest content posted publicly

6.1 Performer Content

• All performances, including but not limited to jokes, routines, scripts, and material, are protected by copyright
• Unauthorized recording, reproduction, or distribution of performances is strictly prohibited
• Violators may be subject to civil and criminal penalties

6.2 Club Property

• All trademarks, service marks, logos, and brand names displayed at the Club or on our website are proprietary to their respective owners
• You may not use any Club trademarks without our prior written consent
• The Club name, logo, and all related content are protected intellectual property

7.1 Website Use

• Our website is provided for informational and transactional purposes
• You agree not to misuse our website or interfere with its normal operation
• Unauthorized use of automated systems or software to access our website is prohibited

7.2 User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account

7.3 Electronic Communications

• By providing your email address or phone number, you consent to receive communications from us
• Communications may include confirmations, receipts, promotional offers, and updates
• You may opt out of promotional communications as provided in our Privacy Policy

8.1 Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Attendance at comedy shows involves inherent risks
• You assume all risks associated with attending shows and visiting our venue
• Comedy performances may include adult language, content, and themes
• We are not responsible for the content of performances or your reaction to such content

8.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Club shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for your ticket
• We are not liable for personal injury, property damage, or loss unless caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct
• We are not responsible for items lost, stolen, or damaged on our premises

8.3 Disclaimer of Warranties

• Our services and venue are provided “as is” and “as available”
• We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the quality, accuracy, or reliability of our services
• We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted or error-free

8.4 Indemnification

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or regulation
• Your violation of the rights of any third party
• Your conduct at our venue or use of our services

• The Club is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
• Guests are advised to keep valuables secured at all times
• Lost and found items will be held for 30 days
• Unclaimed items may be donated or disposed of after 30 days

• Guests with medical conditions should inform staff upon arrival
• Emergency medical services will be contacted if necessary
• The Club is not responsible for medical expenses incurred on premises
• By attending, you authorize emergency medical treatment if you are unable to provide consent

The Club shall not be liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Acts of God, natural disasters, or severe weather
• Pandemic, epidemic, or public health emergency
• Government orders or restrictions
• Labor disputes or strikes
• Power outages or utility failures
• Acts of terrorism or civil unrest

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Washington State, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Washington.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Club regarding your use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other provision. No waiver shall be effective unless in writing and signed by an authorized representative of the Club.
