Paul Ogata won the prestigious 32nd Annual San Francisco International Comedy Competition, putting him in an exclusive club with the likes of Dana Carvey, Sinbad, Doug Stanhope and other comedy greats.
The Hawaii-born Ogata traded in his gig as a highly-rated morning radio show host to tour the world as a stand-up comedian. Along the way he has performed for royalty and heads of state, in a special ops camp in Afghanistan, in Malaysia’s sold-out Palace of Culture and even a laundromat in Aspen (which, in all fairness, was standing-room-only).
From 2023 through 2026 Paul joined the cast of Cirque du Soleil’s “Mad Apple” production on the Las Vegas strip as one of the show’s resident comics. Aside from regularly headlining at clubs across Sin City, Paul Ogata still manages to perform regularly across six continents.
