Rosebud Baker
Rosebud Baker is a New York-based comedian, actress, and writer. Known for her biting wit and unapologetic style, Rosebud Baker's comedy takes audiences on a ride that's as brutally hilarious as it is refreshingly real. She is an Emmy-and-WGA Award- I winning writer, for her work on Saturday Night Live and Inside Amy Schumer. She's also written for HBO's That Damn Michael Che, and Comedy Central's Roast of Alex Baldwin. Her first comedy special, Whiskey Fists, was praised for its raw honesty, sharp punchlines, and unflinching humor about life's messiest moments. Vulture named her second comedy special (The Mother Lode,) 'one of the best comedy specials of 2025.
Known for her fearless, darkly funny perspective, Rosebud has been featured on Netflix's That's My Time with David Letterman, Comedy Central Presents, and This Week at the Comedy Cellar. Her acting work can be seen in Life & Beth on Hulu, and on the big screen in the comedy- horror feature, Hell of A Summer.
She was selected as New Face of Comedy at Montreal's prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival. The Village Voice named Rosebud as The Very Best of Just For Laughs New Faces Showcase, stating ''Baker’s no-nonsense, wickedly dirty routine cut through the evening like barbed wire." Baker’s intensely personal, remorselessly dark brand of humor stood out to viewers in the Amazon Video docu-series, "Inside Jokes"which documented her journey to the festival from auditions, to callbacks, to the showcase itself.
